TRIP TO TELUK INTAN

Persatuan Buddhist Hilir Perak (PBHP)

To finish off the DSG for that semester,we organized a trip to Teluk Intan and Taiping to take a look at the Persatuan Buddhist Hilir Perak and Sasanarakha Buddhist Sanctuary respectively. We were most welcomed by the PBHP society, esp Bro Tan, Bro Hor and Sis Ooi that we didn’t feel out of placed or any sort during their programmes like Chanting, Hymn Singing and Dhamma Discussion with other members. In fact, we did an impromptu singing due to popular demand,ahem,ahem..Bro Tan led us in a session of Qi-Gong early in the morning and it was quite refreshing actually as we sleepyheads had some difficulty getting up..Bro Tan also took us around Teluk Intan for sightseeing and of course, the famous chee cheong fun!Caution: it’s a bit more dry compared to the normal chee cheong fun we have in PJ..
